Offering will be received on Sunday, December 21st

Envelopes are available in the hallways and church foyer.

The auction will assist our care ministry members and others that may need assistance thru the holidays. Items to include but not limited to are baked goods, crafts, Christmas Decorations & ornaments, collector's items (knives, coins, etc.)

There will be a time of fellowship before the auction begins. Please bring finger foods, snack items, & desserts. The church will furnish the soft drinks, water & coffee.

As we enter this season of celebration and generosity, we have a special opportunity to share the love of Christ with those who could use some extra encouragement this Christmas.

This year, our Men’s Ministry will be putting together Christmas Blessing Boxes for the residents of the Tennessee Baptist Adult Home. There are eight residents who would be deeply blessed by our care, prayers, and generosity. In addition to the blessing boxes, we are planning to host a small Christmas party for them to enjoy fellowship, treats, and the joy of the season.

To make this happen, we need our church family to be a part of this outreach!

How can you participate?

• Donate items to include in the boxes. A list of residents & needs will be posted on the bulletin board.
• Sponsor a resident’s box or give financially toward gifts & supplies.
• Serve at the Christmas party on Thursday December 11^th from 6-7:30 pm here in the fellowship hall. There are sign-up sheets on the bulletin board for finger foods & desserts to bring to the party. You can bring them to church on Wednesday night or Thursday afternoon. Also, a sign-up sheet if you would be able to help at the party.
• Pray for the residents and for Christ’s love to be seen and felt.

Volunteers – We can not do this without YOU. We will need help setting up and tearing down, making food and snacks, and general fellowship. Wherever you are comfortable, there is a place for you to help!

Items can be dropped off in the fellowship hall until December 7th. A suggested list of items for the Blessing Boxes is posted on the bulletin board and on the boxes.

Our goal is simply to love well and reflect Jesus to others—especially during a time of year that can feel lonely for many.

Let’s join together as a church family to make this Christmas meaningful for these residents in a way that shows the hope and joy we have in Christ.

If decorating your Christmas tree is getting to be a chore, Handy Hands Ministry will help decorate Christmas trees for Senior Adults and the disabled. Contact Matthew at 639-395-8637.
